At first contact, you can expect to meet directly with our office staff to discuss the context and specific goals for your build. Following this meeting, we will deliver an estimated proposal that serves as a blueprint for detailed specifications at contract signing. Things to consider prior to this meeting are:

1. Your land or ours
2. Size and scope of build
3. Ideal timeline to start and end
4. Inspiration photos/examples/materials

Following the contract signing, Cobblestone Homes will pair you with a project manager. Our team will kickstart the process with the Turnover and Preconstruction meetings. During these meetings, you will receive a welcome package and information to guide you through the process. You will also be making your first decisions prior to sitework!

The Cobblestone Homes team works in tandem on-site and in the office to be a resource for you throughout the journey of creating your dream home. Our selection process consists of a wide variety of custom options to allow our homes to feel as unique as each homeowner. During our in-office selection meetings, we will check in on your progress and guide you through exterior and interior finish options. Our preferred trade partners will also provide important guidance throughout the selection process.

During this phase, your home begins to take shape as your project manager coordinates the construction with our trusted trade partners and subcontractors. Your main role during this process will be making selections according to your selection schedule and attending site walkthroughs with your project manager.

Throughout the construction process, you will attend on-site walkthroughs in preparation for major stages like electrical, plumbing, and landscaping. Toward the end of construction, you will also complete a final walkthrough as we ensure every feature of the home is up to our highest standards.

After many meetings, walkthroughs, and finalized decisions, our favorite part of the process is handing over the keys to our new homeowners. We are only a phone call away if any questions arise as you settle in. You can also expect a visit from us 11 months after closing to complete your final walkthrough for any items that need to be addressed.
